Description
Help page focusing on the understanding of Namespaces as they apply to WikiFAQ.

The contents of the site are divided up into "namespaces", or groups of pages with similiar information. For example the "Help" namespace is where all the "Help" articles are stored and is notated by the "Help" in the page title: "Help:Contents". Articles are considered to be in the default or blank namespace.

The following are the different Namespaces in WikiFAQ:

This is the default or main namespace. The various FAQs make up the bulk of this Namespace. For example: Main Page.

The forums that are associated with each page in the default namespace. For example: Forums: Main Page.

User Namespace:

Each member of the WikiFAQ community is given a page to do with as they please. For example: User: Mepage.

User Forums Namespace

The forums that are associated with each page in the user namespace. For example: User Forums:WikiFAQ Admin.

Category Namespace

The namespace that contains the various user defined categories that allow for FAQ organization. For example: Forums: Main Page. For more information on categories see: Help:Categories

Snippet Namespace

The namespace containing the various snippets used withing the pages of WikiFAQ. For example: Snippet:FAQ Count. For more information on Snippets see Help:Snippets

Snippet Forums Namespace

The forums that are associated with each page in the Snippet namespace. For example: Snippet forums:FAQ Count.

Image Namespace

The namespace that contains the images uploaded to WikiFAQ. For example: Image:Smileyface.png.

The namespace that contains all of the help articles. For example: Help:Contents.

Pages dealing with various aspects of WikiFAQ. These range from the contact us page to the bug reports page. For example: WikiFAQ:Glossary.
